When is the best time to schedule a 3D or 4D ultrasound?
Expectant parents visit us throughout pregnancy for a variety of reasons, including early reassurance, gender determination, and seeing their baby’s development. For the most detailed facial images, we generally recommend scheduling a 3D/4D ultrasound between 26 and 32 weeks, although great images can often be obtained both before and after this timeframe depending on your baby’s position and stage of pregnancy.
Can I find out the gender of my baby early?
Yes. Our early gender ultrasound can determine your baby’s gender as early as 14 weeks. We also offer DNA gender testing from 7 weeks for families who would like to know even sooner.
What if my baby is hiding during the ultrasound?
Babies don’t always cooperate! If your baby is not in a position to see facial features during a full 3D/4D or HD Live (5D) session, we offer a complimentary repeat scan within two weeks of the original appointment. For gender reveal packages, a repeat scan is also provided if baby’s gender cannot be determined due to positioning.
